*Summer Blues*

Sorry everyone for not posting the past week. It has been craziness around here, as always. Between work, children, school and organizing... I haven't had time to journal and speak to you lovely people!

Working on a few things that I am not posting about just yet. But it is all GREAT things, all GREAT things!

One thing I did do this past week that was fun, went and got the family a new movie.
Zootopia came out last Tuesday. Needless to say, the children have watched it at least once a day since we brought it home. Have you seen it yet? If not, I suggested that you go and buy it and have a movie night with the family. :) My husband and I really enjoyed it as well.

I am going to do better at posting from now on. Even if I don't have any thing exciting going on. lol Things are busy and I have a lot going on... I will be so happy when school is over and I can spend more time with the family and spend more time blogging :) I have a few things that I want to get going on this blog stuff and I just have to get in the swing of things.. this is all new to me. lol

Have a great Tuesday!!

*Tuesday Night Movie* The Chick Flick!

So! Have you seen the movie Leap Year?! Well, I just finished watching it and I must say, it was pretty damn good! Makes me want to visit Ireland even more now lol PLUS, the story line was great! But, like all movies, you know what is going to happen in the end before you even get halfway through... Why is that?! Ugh!

I think I need to make a list of all the good movies I haven't seen and pick one a month to watch and write about... I was also thinking about adding in some foodie blog posts as well, since I LOVE to cook/bake! BUT, all of that would be much better if I actually had followers who read, comment, etc.. I am sure things will come around... I hope!

As for the children and I, we have plans tomorrow. First plans of the summer! It is a day trip but we are excited! Meeting up with friends for food, swimming and just the great company :) Fun will be had by all and the kids will be worn out and ready for bed by the time we get home. It's a WIN WIN for the adults, the kids just don't even know.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far.. We are halfway to the weekend!!!! WOOHOO!!!

PS: If you do read this, comment some movies that I should check out, would love to hear about what you are watching and post about it after I watch it...

The end of the weekend...

Sunday, the crappiest day of the week lol The day that reminds us all that tomorrow is Monday and so begins another week of reality...

I sit here and think about the past few months and realize a few things... One, my babies are not babies anymore. They are more independent than ever and I am not sure how to take that. But, does any parent? Second, college is almost over. Even though I have until May 2017, I have come a long way since Jan 2014.. Hell, I have come along way since 2001! But, all in all, I am totally blessed and happy. I proud of my children and my husband. But, why do I question my self about being proud of ME?! UGH!

Anyway, The weekend went well. We got a lot done around the house. One day at a time. Just like anything else, right? lol I will be glad when we get everything done around here and can enjoy each other's company and enjoy the summer with the kids.

Well, I think that is it for today. I really need to get something done with this school work that is due this week. My calendar for the month of June is PACKED with something due daily.. Some days even have two or three things due... OY! I am glad I only have one other summer class and that's it. No more summer classes for this chick, I'm over it.. lol

Good evening everyone. Stay tuned...

The Weekend

So, I didn't get around to posting last night because I just got busy. Life of a student mom... lol
We did the normal stuff, cleaning house, going through stuff and cooking dinner.
As for me, my Psych class is making me crazy! Taking a 5 week class means there is stuff due daily! I'm having a hard time keeping up...what the he'll was I thinking?! I guess its because I'm on the down hill slope to graduation. Next may I will take that walk for the second timE. But, it will be for two Bachelors :) go me! Yet, I sit here pondering... what will I do with my four degrees? Do I want to go to law school? Should I go back for another undergrad degree? They say you should figure out all of this when your younger but you know, whoever they are need to regroup because even as an adult,I'm still not 100% sure what I want to be when I grow up.. lol
Maybe I will figure out by next may and maybe I won't but for now I'm just going to keep on rockin and make the best of my college experience :)
Good day everyone.  Stay tuned for the test of the story....

HELLO OUT THERE!!!!

So, I decided to start a blog... I have tried this once before and it didn't go the way I had it planned out in my head. But, I figured, what the hell... let's try this again.

My name is Paula. I am a 31 year old wife, mother of 4 and a college student. My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years... Yup 10 years! That sounds nuts saying it out loud... Doesn't seem like it has been that long... He is my rock and he does so much for our family. He is one amazing fella! I don't know how I got so lucky... We have four beautiful, yet sassy, children. Two girls and Two boys. It is crazy to think that we will have a freshman in high school, one starting Jr. High (7th grade), one going on to the fourth grade and our youngest will be entering Kindergarten... CRAZINESS all around! lol

As for me, I am a SR. in college... I know, you are probably sitting there wondering, "how the hell does this lady have time to go to school?"... Well, I am one short fuse away from loosing my flippin mind lol No, but really. Some days are better than others, but hey, tis life right? I take care of my kiddos and get to spend time with my family. We work around six different crazy schedules and we get things done. Raising a family takes a village and you must work as a team or you fall apart. I love my village people ;)

When I am not doing school work, wrangling children or annoying my husband, I enjoy music and art. I am a big nerd about some music and arts/crafts. I also enjoy cooking anything from savory to sweet. Don't really have hobbies anymore, but if I had the time I would want to pick up my art/craft skills or even an alto sax and just have great time with it. But until then, I do what I do...

I hope this blog turns out better than the first one. I plan to keep up daily posts and use this as my escape, venting, let my hair down, so to speak, time.... I am sure someone will read this... I hope... Virtual journal.... hey, why not?
